I know all four of these folks pro and con the proposition. I’ve books by Douglas Murray (pro) and Malcolm Gladwell (con) awa many articles and substacks by Matt Taibbi (pro) and Michelle Goldberg (con).

Things change. Being Brexit, anti EU, used to be a left-wing thing until five minutes ago; now if you voted Brexit you’re right wing. Being anti-war used to be a-left wing thing. Now, if you’re for peace in Ukraine you’re right wing. And the media had — still has — the biggest voice in making those narratives.
