Band of Brothers. The ISPU is a Muslim Brotherhood think tank

In my post on mosques in the US and their promotion of hate ideology, I mentioned the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding, which was quoted in a Huffington Post article attempting to make the case that there is nothing to worry about.
I thought I would do a bit of research into ISPU.  Surprise, surprise (not) it is a Muslim organisation. Nothing wrong with that, on the face of it, but not the sort of unbiased organisation, I would have thought, that one would go to for analysis of what’s happening in mosques.
But it’s worse than that.  It’s clear from a look at some of ISPU’s membership that it’s a think-tank driven by Muslim Brotherhood sympathisers and those who seek to Islamicise knowledge in US schools.
Board of Advisors:
Akbar Ahmed is professor of the American University, Chair of the Ibn Khaldun Chair of Islamic Studies.[*]  He is a proponent of the “Islamization of Knowledge”:
Islamization of knowledge simply refers to an attempt through which those aspects of the body and purpose of knowledge and of the process and methodologies of discovering, validating, imparting and applying it, which oppose Islam, are identified and made subservient to the Islamic worldview. [emphasis in original].  [source]
Ahmed is a member of the Graduate School of Islamic and Social Sciences, which in its previous incarnation as the Islamic Institute of Advanced Studies -- of which Ahmed was also a member -- was raided in 2002 for suspected terrorism financing, money laundering, tax evasion and ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.  Wowie!
Sherman Jackson: professor at the University of Michigan, is an apologist for Sharia – a key Muslim Brotherhood plank –  which he claims is a
“Muslim universe of ideals…. to earn God’s pleasure and secure human welfare…”.
Nothing there about the egregious elements of Sharia which are authoritatively set out in the Classic Manual of Islamic Jurisprudence, The Reliance of the Traveller: the amputations for theft, the stoning for adultery, the half value of a woman’s life vs that of a man, permission to kill a wayward daughter who brings “shame” on the family; the jihad as holy war against unbelievers.  It’s all there in black and white.  But Jackson – who must surely know this – tries to convince we infidels and dhimmies that it’s all sweetness and light and that the aim of Sharia is just to “secure human welfare”.  Yeah, right.
[come to think of it, there's probably no contradiction: the "Muslim universe of ideals... God's pleasure..." and so on, no doubt include, in the minds of the likes of Jackson, the draconian punishments in the Reliance]
John Esposito of Georgetown University is a long-time Islamic apologist and Muslim Brotherhood apologist, with at least a dozen past or present affiliations with global Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas organisations.  He is director of the Center for Christian Muslim Understanding, the full title of which (not on the ISPU website) is the Prince Alaweed Bin Talal Center of Christian Muslim Understanding.  That is, it’s funded by Saudi money.  Esposito claims the Prince is a moderate, but then he thinks the homophobic and genocidal jew-hater Yusuf Qaradawi is a "moderate". (Qaradawi has criticised the Nazis –  not for the genocide of Jews, but for not completing the job….).
Muneer Fareed is a former Secretary General of the Islamic Society of North America. ISNA is Muslim Brotherhood front, and was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation-Hamas terror funding case.
Amina McCloud, professor at De Paul University, has a history of aligning herself with reactionary and radical elements within the American Muslim community and in actively working to obscure the true nature of Islamism in the United States.
Sulayman Nyang, professor at Howard University is tied to the Global Muslim Brotherhood, via his membership of the Islamic Circle of North America, which is “generally thought to be tied to the Jamaat-e-Islami organisation of Southeast Asia, itself known to be allied with the Muslim Brotherhood.” [source]
Board of Directors:

Mazen Asbahi:  Had to resign in 2008 as Obama’s Muslim outreach adviser, when the Wall Street Journal revealed his connection to Jamal Said, the imam of a Chicago-area mosque.  Both men served tother on the board of Allied Assets Advisors Fund which had ties to Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood.
So there you have it.  Six of the eight Advisers to ISPU and at least one of the Directors are connected with the Muslim Brotherood. A gang of rogues, with clear – and in some cases close –  ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and an agenda to Islamicize education in the US.  It wouldn’t be a stretch, I reckon, to call the ISPU a think-tank for the Muslim Brotherhood.
Yet it’s to this Band of Brothers that the dhimmi fools at the Huffington Post go to get a view on whether mosques in the US are radical.  “No, they’re not”, says the ISPU.  “Oh, that’s OK then”, says Huffpost. And so they, and their faithful readers, can go back to sleep, self-righteously nodding off, tolerant.. tolerant… tolerant…. zzzzz.

Not worried about the Brotherhood?
The “General Strategic Goal” for the Brotherhood in the US is:
“… a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and "sabotaging" its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God's religion is made victorious over all other religions.”
A former Special Agent of the FBI has stated the following, in answer to the question on the Muslim Brotherhood:
“It’s all factual information and it’s open to the public to digest if they so desire.  These documents from the Holy Land Foundation trial are available online, all you need to do is Google “Holy Land Foundation”, and the documents also show that every major Muslim organisation in the United States is a Muslim Brotherhood front, specifically the three most prominent organisations, the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC), the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA).
“CAIR is a Hamas entity; it is Hamas and ISNA is a huge financial entity for Hamas…”
and yet, and yet…
“…. CAIR and ISNA are the two groups that the United States government including the FBI, Department of Defence, State Department and Department of Homeland Security look to and utilize to do their outreach to the Muslim community in America.”.
********

[*]Ibn Khaldun – the name on the Chair occupied by Akbar Ahmed -- advocated violence against non-Muslims as a religious duty, in order to achieve the larger goal of dismantling non-Muslim civilization and imposing an Islamic caliphate. Ibn Khaldun made it clear that holy war is the duty of every Muslim. From his most famous work, Muqaddimah:
“In the Muslim community, the holy war is a religious duty, because of the universalism of the [Muslim] mission and [the obligation to] convert everybody to Islam either by persuasion or by force.” [source]
