“Dozens of books removed…”: We can still get any book they want in Amazon. So removing from libraries only ➡️ Streisand Effect: “hey! let’s make sure we buy some books on June 4th!”
“Children of the future will doubt …”: In fact, they won’t even know June 4, 1989 even happened. That’s the case in the mainland. I know coz I’ve asked. No one under 40 knows about Tiananmen massacre, let alone about the Gang of Four. All gone down the CCP memory hole.
