What happened in Rafah?

Food aid convoy at Rafah, S. Gaza.

Two narratives:

(A) According to anti-Israel, pro-Hamas side: Israeli army, the IDF, shot and killed over 100 Gazans trying to reach a food aid convoy and then ran over them in tanks. It was a massacre.

(B) According to Israel side: there was chaos, people killed in stampedes and run over by the aid trucks. They provide drone evidence, above.

Neither side knows what really happened. Yet the anti-Israel side, A, are loud and certain, especially on Twitter/X, where there is widespread condemnation. If true what they say, then condemning is needed. But they don’t know. And neither do I.

My own feeling so far is leaning to B, of course, but with reservations. There was chaos and people killed (we don’t know how many); some may have been killed by the IDF, but others were killed in stampede and by the aid trucks themselves. The footage above seems to support this. But with reservations.

What’s notable is how certain the anti-Israel side is. No reservations.  No doubts. Absolutely certain. Israel is guilty! And the side A types are more than willing to go out, with that certainty, to condemn Israel. And if works! Even the U.S. government leans to A.

Another notable thing: no-one is blaming Hamas. Hams, who started the war. Who still have hostages. Who refuse to give them up. Who refuse to surrender. Who steal all the aid that’s been sent. Who are directly responsible for the hunger in Rafah.

Oh, the Hypocrisy.
