The drumbeat of demonisation that led to Trump’s near assassination did not begin yesterday. The attempt on the former president’s life is the fruit of what billionaires and nefarious interests have been sowing for many years in both Israel and the USA.What’s worse, their collusion for chaos and delegitimization of popular sentiment has given the green light to political violence, all in the name of upholding “democracy.”
It’s much the same in the United States. The Left has wished death on Donald Trump in all manner of ways: beheaded, shot, knifed, thrown over a cliff.
And it nearly happened to Trump the other evening in PA.
Caroline gives the broader context. Of the Left that believes itself right and righteous while they believe the Right to be not just wrong, but evil. And not to be trusted. Illegitimate. As Hillary Clinton has been saying since 2016 about Donald Trump, right up until today. Illegitimate.
And then try to turn the rhetoric around: the reason for the attack on Trump was not them and their murderous rhetoric, the drumbeat of death, oh no, no, no. Not that. It’s the rhetoric on the Trump side that got him shot. Which doesn’t even make any sense. Because if it is someone who doesn’t agree with his rhetoric about the open borders, then that’s because they’re on the Left. So you’re still left with people trying to shoot him because they don’t like his ideas.
But far more likely is that someone -- in this case Timothy Crooke, 20 y.o. -- who was fired up by the idea that he’d be taking out a literal Hitler.

And describes, btw, the Occupy Central protests her win Hong Kong in 2014, which led to the riots of 2019, and the crack down by Beijing, which was never going to put up with such nonsense, even if Washington was. IOW, what the Left did, helped not at all. It made us go backwards.
