Xena, Around the Island race, Hong Kong 2015

Looking back to Central Hong Kong, just before the start

We know it’s just before the start because the mainsail is still lashed to the boom....

And everyone’s pretty relaxed. 

I think we did OK in this race, though I can’t quite remember. The race is a fun one, with hundreds of yachts of all sizes, racing clockwise around Hong Kong island. It takes anywhere from 2.5 to 6 hours.
