If you've ever been attacked by the Woke, you'll be familiar with a certain characteristic trait of theirs I'd like to explain. They cannot be wrong. If you disagree, it's only because you don't get it yet or because you willfully refuse to.
Woke people believe they have "woke up" to how society really is, and it's only a matter of time for others. Everyone who agrees with them "gets it" and has "woke up." Everyone else has some kind of false consciousness and will either wake up eventually or will willingly refuse to for some selfish reason.
That is, you cannot disagree. You can either not know yet or refuse to accept the truth for bad reasons.
This belief structure has a lot of downstream effects. One is that they act with a kind of brazen certainty and, in fact, paranoia and malice regarding what they know and believe others don't. They're "enlightened," you see.
Their "enlightened" status makes them Elect as well. They don't just have the better explanation; they alone have the only real explanation. Therefore, only they have a right to speak, lead, or rule. Anything else would maintain the false consciousness about the true state of society they "woke up" to.
They therefore not only bully people who don't agree, they write strange fan-fictions about their lives. In their Woke view, people who haven't "woke up" yet will encounter undeniable circumstances that will "wake them up" (or "baptize") them (by fire) soon enough. Something bad enough will happen that they'll finally "see the light (darkness)" and "wake up" too, unless they're too selfish or indoctrinated (Boomer-brained) to admit "the truth."
These silly little fan-fictions are disorienting but are a predictable consequence of having a Woke mentality, which requires the world to satisfy the Woke view of the world. Woke is, in many respects, having adopted a particular and critical fantasy mythology about the world, and the people who believe in it have also invested their sense of self in that fantasy being true (because then they're "enlightened" and Elect).
Anyone who persists in not getting with the program, especially if they fail to interpret events according to the Woke theory at hand (say, that the Jews control everything), must be doing so out of severe stupidity or willful blindness and is therefore to be subject to abuse. The abuse is "criticism" and "struggle" meant to induce "self-criticism" and "self-reflection," then change, or awakening. These words are Maoist because these tactics and techniques are Maoist as are the beliefs behind these tactics and techniques.
This will always eventually spin out of control. Everything that isn't going the way of the Woke Elect will eventually be interpreted through the lens that it wouldn't be going wrong if more people really "got it." The people who claim to "get it" don't get it enough, and the people who don't "get it" yet are an existential threat. The results are predictable, destructive, and inevitable, though their specific form is contingent on how much power the Woke Elect cult has taken to itself.
The beliefs described above can be summarized with a fancy term: Sociognosticism, which is the mother of totalitarianism. Woke is being sociognostic.
"Sociognosticism" is a compound word with two parts: socio- and -gnostic. The "socio-" part is the same prefix as in sociology, the "logic" (-logy, from logos) of social circumstances, dynamics, and phenomena. The "-gnostic" part refers to the gnostic worldview, which is quite specific in meaning. "Sociognosticism" therefore refers to being gnostic about the operation of society through sociological means.
Gnosticism refers to a way of thought in addition to being a label for a variety of esoteric cults in early Christianity (Sethian, Manichean, etc.). They are "gnostic" (Greek: gnosis, meaning knowledge) in that they believe they have a specific kind of hidden or secret or prohibited knowledge about the true nature of the self, reality, and the nature of the self in reality. Others have not "woke up" to this secret or prohibited knowledge. They don't "get it."
The specific type of knowledge gnostics claim is saving knowledge. They have specific beliefs about who we really are and the world into which we have been thrown that, once accepted, chart a path out of the circumstances in which we have been trapped.
Gnostics regard existence as a prison we've been thrown into. Being itself is being imprisoned. Their prohibited gnosis as secret knowledge (a) that we're in this prison and (b) that we might be able to escape this prison by knowing the "true" nature of self, reality, and the relationship of self to reality.
In general, the early Christian Gnostics would have believed that the character most people believe is God is actually a demon who has imprisoned us in the world as mortal beings. There's a true God "beyond" the apparent God (Yahweh), and we are actually not material beings at all, but spiritual. We are, in fact, already gods or like gods ourselves, or, in fact, God Himself in microcosm. The demon who constructed the world doesn't want us to know this, though, and has arranged everything (including Scripture) to hide it from us. It is possible for us to find out the secret, however, and escape his prison, maybe, probably, hopefully.
The name for that demon posing as God the Creator is the Demiurge (Greek: demiurgos, artisan, builder). The Demiurge has arranged reality as a jail to us to maintain his own superiority. The hope of Gnosticism is to realize our true spiritual nature and outfox the Demiurge and escape, back into union with "the true God."
The belief in Gnosticism is that the Demiurge is an Alien being who has alienated us from our true nature and true inheritance. Alienation is at the center of the entire gnostic belief structure.
Sociognosticism (or Sociological Gnosticism; or Social Gnosticism) does not characterize the gnostic story in terms of spiritual forces or beings. In place of the spiritual, it puts the social (sociological).
It therefore believes that we are social beings who aren't allowed to be who we really are because we misunderstand the world we're in. We don't understand our true nature as people, the state of society as it really is, or our intrinsic relationship as people to our society. It's "Woke" because we can "wake up" to this structure, once we see it.
The general structure is that some powerful center in society has constructed society and its systems of power and domination to validate itself and exclude all challengers, usually through social marginalization, repression, and oppression. That is, the "dominant groups" represent a Social Demiurge who alienates us from our "true being."
The Social Demiurge (dominant groups) erects a broad social mythology (called an "ideology") that justifies its (their) power while making its arbitrary and selfish nature invisible to most. People are socialized to accept it, not to see beyond it. They are led into a false consciousness to worship the society created and maintained by the Social Demiurge instead of the true society as it could/should be.
Marx said that "supersession [of the self] [is] the retraction of alienation into the self," and most of his theory was about alienation by the Social Demiurge he identified in the ruling class, which is the bourgeoisie in 19th century industrial capitalism (and since). Becoming "social" (or socialist, or social man, or socialist man) is a matter of "waking up" to this "reality" by becoming class conscious (supersession of self by absorbing class alienation and letting it define you as a sociospiritual-gnostic being).
It is the same with all Woke, including Fascism and Woke Right. Society is ruled by powerful groups (a Social Demiurge) who hide the real truth from us all, and only by "waking up" to their lies can we overcome their domination. In the meantime, we're marginalized, repressed, and oppressed, not just literally but by being held under the spell of false consciousness from which we need to "wake up."
This is the Woke mythological structure that is behind every single Woke fan-fiction they write about how the world "really" works and who we "really" are as people, even though we're alienated from our "true nature." Every disagreement has to be understood in terms of this totalizing mythological story structure, hence the behavior I outlined from the beginning.
I understand that Sociognosticism is a big, fancy, complicated word, but it is the mysticism and occultism of politics since the late 1700s, if not earlier. It is a pernicious strain that the Founding Fathers of America were discerning enough to detect and wise enough to attempt to preclude from their formulations for the United States, though their wisdom was early enough to have left gaps that we must be vigilant to fill.
People mistake Sociognosticism for politics, economics, sociology, and philosophy all the time. In fact, we're in the mess we're in now because people can barely tell the difference and our tech has allowed the full mainstreaming of what used to be confined to very elite circles (for the most part). Sociognosticism is not politics, economics, sociology, or philosophy, though. It is dark occultism and mysticism preying on the alienated and desperate, poisoning their minds in order to continue justifying itself.
If you find yourself disagreeing with a Woke person, or merely attacked by them, you will see for yourself what this experience is like. They cannot be wrong, and you have sided with a demon for not agreeing with them. They will treat you as such. This behavior is highly indicative of Woke Sociognosticism, and, as you can see, it has a fairly simple explanation.
