Sad to me that people, Muslims especially, cannot see the obvious circular argument here.
Islam: “women are worth only half a man”. Me: “what’s your evidence?”. Islam: “the rules we make say so.”
This comes from a Hadith of Sahih Al-Bukhari. The Hadiths are second only to the Quran in veneration and authenticity about matters Islam.
But still, you know... Women are treated well in Islam! Islam was the first religion to give women full rights!
Yeah, right.
