The problem with Donald Trump as candidate

Charles Lipson, above, says: Revenge focus is not what Americans want or need but seems what Trump is focussed on. And people are sick of the “Tumult” surrounding Trump. For many Dems it’s Trump Derangement Syndrome. For many Reps it’s Trump Tiredness Syndrome.

Above also includes Alan Dershowitz and how weak (“thin”) the NYC indictment is. As other staunchly anti-Trump media have said: eg, the New York Times (“It’s a legal embarrassment”), Vox (“Dubious legal theory”, CNN “it’s underwhelming”). You couldn’t find any more anti-Trump media than these or any more keen to put Trump behind bars, but even they find this particular indictment is thin gruel.

Apparently the public are against the indictment 60% while 72% believe it’s politically motivated. (Which means about 12% think it’s political but also not against it…). 

Despite Lipson above, Rasmussen poll on president: Trump 47%, Biden 40%. A flip from three months ago.
