“Celebrate colonial past for Chinese people’s vim and ingenuity” | Christopher Ip

Agree, Christopher!

We should celebrate the fact that not a statue has come down, not a street has been renamed, cars still drive in the left. That’s good. For Hong Kong was a refuge for millions from the depredations of communism, post-1949. 
It was the British legal system allowed the creativity of the Chinese people to flourish.
