Marco is our local Hongkonger, made the final by coming back from 1-4 down to near John Higgins 6-4 with a maximum break of 147. Ronnie beat our Aussie Mark Robinson.Ronnie is seven times World Champion. Mark and John both World champs. Strong field in the HK Masters.

Ronnie is 7 times World Champion. Marco our local Hong Kong boy. It would be great if he wins. Also great if Ronnie, the old man, wins. Best of 11. Min 40 minutes, max a couple hours. Big crowd.

ADDED: Ronnie won 6-4. It was a good match and Ronnie’s winning frame was sublime. >8,000 crowd, biggest in Snooker history. Ronnie and Marco on the front page of the Post today (10/10).
