Strange jump in methane: an ice age termination event?

I’ve been following Anton Petrov (the YouTuber above) for some years. Often a bit nerdy. As is the vid above.

I’ve known about the issue and danger of methane for some time — like the methane that will be released by a melting of the permafrost— but not the twist that Anton explains in the above video. 

If it’s correct, then there’s going to be a sudden rise in temperatures over the next few decades, before a drop and it’s going to happen soon, and it’s nothing to do with CO2.
