Caitlin Sutherland, head of the Americans for Public Trust (APT), talks about the amount of foreign money coming into American politics. Most is not from Russia or China, but from the United Kingdom! All of it that her APT has been able to trace, goes to Left Wing — aka “Liberal” in the U.S. — movements and causes.
Until quite recently I don’t think most of us were aware of this. Although the Left became obsessed with “Russian Collusion” and Russian money going to the Trump campaign. Which the exhaustive Mueller Report, established by Democratic pressure and run by Democrat lawyers, proved false. By contrast the money going to Liberal, sometimes far-Left, causes is real, traceable and impactful.
To be clear, Caitlin says that the APT would be against foreign money funding any political side, Left or Right. It just so happens that it’s been all to the Left.
