And… the OT of The Bible. Not persuasive to an atheist like me (also a Zionist), but persuasive in a region steeped in religion. Where even the enemy, Islam, recognises the Bible. Indeed the Koran is a hodgepodge of half understood cribs from the Bible. Including the Jewish Torah.
Israel is older than 70% of the countries in the United Nations. It is a living place. An important and influential country politically, technologically, economically, strategically, existentially.
