Extreme Weather and Climate Change Dashboard
The above dashboard is extremely interesting. And useful to refer to whenever one sees a claim that this or that event is “unprecedented”. Usually with the rider that it’s “due to climate change”.
The dashboard doesn’t go into causation. But it does answer the “is it the worst ever” question. Where does what’s going on fit in with history? Based in our best data.
The dashboard covers the eight indicators suggested by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.
