Well said, Rizwan Basir. 

These negative growth ("degrowth") types need to have a look at carbon emissions in the developed world. Have been declining for decades.  Meantime, China alone has emissions 48% larger than EU and US *combined*.  

Also, you know what makes poor people poorer? Negative growth, aka "degrowth".
