I do like that TBN celebrates Israeli wins against the terrorists of Hezbollah and Hamas. Not triumphalist, but celebratory. The other side of this coin — being down on Israel, criticising Israel not matter what they do, hating on their successes, hating on Netanyahu — I get plenty of that on BBC, CNN, ABC and all the rest of the mainstream media.
Australia’s ABC, for example — the public broadcaster which is supposed to be impartial, is paid $1.2 billion a year in tax dollars to be so, “our ABC” — yesterday called the Israeli strikes against Hezbollah an “aggression”. No mention of the 8,000+ Hezbollah rockets shot into Israel since October 7th — one of which killed 12 children on the Golan Heights — nor of Iran’s rocket, missile and drone attacks. No mention that Hezbollah two months ago announced its aim to attack and occupy Israel down the Sea of Galilee. No, none of that. Just wittering about “Israeli aggression” against Hezbollah.
I’d be shocked if I weren’t so used to this hypocrisy from the MSM.
ADDED: And booh-sux to those who supported or just abstained from the recent horrid Islamic inspired UNGA resolution on Israel which basically denies Israel the right of self-defence. The Abstainers incudes Australia via our egregious Foreign Minister Penny Wong — she who’s never met a terrorist she didn’t rather like — directing Australia’s Rep at the U.N. to abstain. Not to Oppose, as we should have done, but to Abstain. Shameless cretins. And Wong in a presser talking of a “2-state solution” as a matter of “when not if”, thus proving she knows zero of the issue. Or cares only to be wilfully ignorant, cloaked in her comfy virtues. Dripping insincerity. Oozing self-righteousness. Oh Penny, Penny, Penny… you’ll never add up to a dollar.
