A decade ago, I was a touch surprised when a family member hadn't heard of "Woke". When I'd been reading about it for some years by that stage. 

But then a liberal guy here just the other day, also had not heard of "Woke". Which I find really amazing. Given that I seem to have been drowning in Woke stuff for years. In books and articles.  Just go Google it, it's all over. 

So it seems needed to keep on banging on about Woke. Because Woke is a threat. To our western liberal tolerant culture. To the science that's brought us to where we are. Where we can have a YouTube based on an Internet based on an electricity supply based on an infrastructure that would not be here save for the science method. Which the Woke culture would do away with. 

Here is Mark Dolan that I know about but have never really followed, talking to Andrew Gold But who strikes me as someone who speaks with subtlety and knowledge. Especially on Woke. 

When they talk about the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics and the mockery of the Last Supper, when they get offended by is not the offence itself, but the fact that they're hypocritical about it. Which was also my criticism. That they would never have done the same for Islam. 

That's the new Blasphemy law in the UK. And the west. And which we must fight against. If we value anything about our renaissance and enlightenment. Western civ, in a word (or two).
