Kowloon, Hong Kong, June 2018, from ferry

The 108-storey International Finance Centre on the far left. With its top 20 floors and rooftop Ozone Bar, run by the Ritz-Carlton Hotel.

The Ozone has wonderful views out over The Peak on Hong Kong island towards the South China Sea, Hong Kong’s southern islands and China off in the misty-mountain distance.

The far right is the Beijing Tower with a famous and very elegant Chinese restaurant, The Hutong (The Laneway), on its top floor.

Those three side-by-side buildings just to the right of the middle of the picture is Harbour City where I lived in a monster (2,500 sq. ft) apartment, from 1990 to 1995, when I was the exalted Executive General Manager of East Asia, for the Australian Trade Commission. I took a ferry to work every morning. A five minute walk from my flat. Everything... and I maan everything... was available just outside my front door.

Fun times.
