Is this ‘pandemic porn’? Paying excessive attention to numbers? I was going to stop, but I see that at the Worldometer page you don’t get the daily world increase and rates, as in my spreadsheet, which I’ve updated daily since January. So I’ll keep going for a while.

Listening to a podcast of the different treatment of sexual allegations against Kavanaugh and Biden by the New YorkTimes. The Times claims to be the “paper of record” fearlessly reporting the news. It is instead, and increasingly so, fearlessly partisan. I’ve seen it happen over the many years I’ve been a subscriber. There’s an article here, if this sort of thing grabs your fancy.
