A useful summary which maybe I'll link in the pages.
One thing Harvey doesn't say in the differences of beliefs section is that both Sunni and Shia Islam are agreed on most of what constitutes Sharia law as codified in The Reliance of the Traveller, the classic manual of Islamic jurisprudence.
