Meaning the same thing as Blumenthal is referring to -- a war in 1948 at the time of the establishment of the State of Israel. All of which Oren tears apart in his video above.
It's also a common trope amongst the Hamas-nicks -- "it didn't start on October 7th!" -- from the luvvies who march along to support the Horrid Hamas, in their kewl keffiyehs, their Black Flags of ISIS, who march across the Harbour Bridge in support of genocidal barbarians, these ones who think they know a little bit. And of course, do end up knowing just a little bit and a little bit of knowledge is always dangerous.
