This is utterly brilliant. A student accuses @jk_rowling of being transphobic. This teacher skilfully dissects the claim and challenges it by asking questions.
He teaches not what to think, but how to think critically.
What is depressing in this exchange is how much the student is willing to simply accept other people's opinions without thinking himself. Until challenged by the teacher.
That aside, and assuming it's a real convo, it's brilliant.
