This is seriously… what?? Both unsurprising and also surprising.
Unsurprising because of the deeply ingrained hatred of Israel and willingness to believe the worst, without a shred of evidence.
But also surprising because these media, like the New York Times have been caught out again and again, and you'd think — wouldn't you ?? — that they'd maybe meant a lesson.
But no.
File under "Things I don't get". I mean, New York Times reporter: you're supposed to do some minimal fact checking! Buddy!
By the way, turns out very few, if any, of these outlets have *admitted* they got it wrong. What they've done, which I reckon is really sleazy, is simply change the headline without saying they've done so.
Goodness, even me in this blog, I took a decision years ago that I wouldn't change a past story without saying so.
Shame in these MSM!
