Anthony Albanese, Penny Wong's response to attack on Israel draws criticism
As it should. Penny Wong is proving to be a poor Foreign Minister for Australia.
Calling for "restraint"? When all that's been done by Israel in the face of ongoing aggression, is restraint?
Gaza was handed over to the Palestinians in 2005. I remember. It was tough for Israel. They had to force some Jews out of their homes at the point of a gun.
What did Hamas immediately do? They destroyed the greenhouses that were part of a vibrant food exporting industry. Destroyed them because they'd been built by Jews.
So much for "Land for Peace". It's a sick joke.
And our Penny Wong just makes things worse with pusillanimous pandering like calling for "restraint" by … Israel !
