Who is the president of the EU?

You’re in good company if you don’t know because virtually no one knows who the president of the EU is, including Europeans.
There’s two reasons for this:
1. There are three “presidents”, not just one. Presidents of Council, Commission and Parliament.
2. None is elected by the people.
There are no election campaigns, no debates, no town hall meetings, no examination by the media.  Nothing. They are all appointed.
And as Andrew Neil shows above, they’re a pretty compromised, mediocre mob (arguably criminal).  But no worries, the EU elite simply nod their heads and carry on. They are used to ignoring the public. They have done it with referendum after referendum.
And this is the organisation, this EU, that has the gall to to lecture Hong Kong about “democracy”.  John and I reckon we have have more democracy and freedoms in Hong Kong than the EU has.
And Julia Hartley-Brewer says “When you fuck up you should be accountable to me [the electorate]”
The plain fact is that EU bureaucrats are not in the least accountable.
