Joe Biden cuts oil production in the US. Because climate change — therefore needs to eliminate all fossil fuels. Cuts production, runs out of oil. Gas prices spike. Then he goes cap in hand to Saudi Arabia and Venezuela asking them for oil. And gets cranky when they refuse!
So how does this add up? How does this make sense? How is he not being quizzed on it? How is the media not calling him out for his hypocrisy?
Instead his spokeswoman, Karine Jean-Pierre is sounding off at OPEC for cutting output! Naughty OPEC! Not playing along with our hypocrisy. Doing Russia's bidding.
Germany is/was the same. Until Russia invaded Ukraine. Berlin cut oil and gas production at home.Thus pleasing Germany’s Greens. Then it bought under-the-counter oil and gas from Russia. Until Ukraine. Again, how is this not called out? How is this not quizzed by German media? It may cut Germany’s emission — but not the global emissions. It’s plain cheating.
But Germany was even more non-sensical and hypocritical than the US. It closed down perfectly good nuclear plants, providing 20% of its clean, reliable, safe energy. But because mad Mutti Merkel was in hock to hyper-emotional German Greens, operational nuclear power plants had to be shut down. A policy continued by the Green Robert Habeck, the current Minister of Industry. Crazy is as crazy does. Huh?
I just don’t get it.
