This is quite extraordinary. That Dr Fauci should fund the very same outfit -- EcoHealth Alliance -- that is implicated in the “Gain of Function” research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, at the centre of the hypothesis that the pandemic was caused by a leak from that lab.
The folks above are not crazies. Saager has done a detailed run down of the lab leak hypotheses. The zoonotic hypothesis is easy: it came from an animal at the Wuhan wet markets. As yet unidentified, despite testing of over 100,000 animals…. And via an unidentified channel. And bearing in mind the infected individuals at the wet market may have been workers at the nearby Wuhan Institute of Virology.
My flabber is gasted that Dr Anthony Fauci should be so tone deaf as to approve this latest research. Mind, he’s at the end of his term and maybe just GZF.
