There's been so much hate on Elon Musk, I want to push back.
All the aggro about him that I've seen is ignorant or outright vicious. Because he's trying to help the Trump admin to reduce government expenditure. Because the deficit is so big. Which adds to the huge debt burden Which threatens the viability of the United States. Because of that -- something that the Democrats have pushed for in the past -- they go after him.
People across the land used to love Elon. There's polls from just few years ago, where Elon came out as the most popular business person in America. Then, bang! on a dime! the change. To hating him. Because he came out as a Trump supporter. When he was a Democrat, they loved him. And Teslas. Which they lionised. They loved them. Then he changed parties, because, as he said, the party left him. Then they hated him. Not that his cars and his businesses were suddenly evil and vicious. Just that he'd gone "to the other side". Isn't that awfully shallow? Isn't that awfully hypocritical.
Along the way, these far Left anti-Elon hypocrites have attacked his companies. Mostly Tesla, but also SpaceX. So here's my take on them.
There is literally -- and I'm using the word "literally" literally -- no other human being in the world, no other person on the planet, not today, not in history, who has created so many ground-breaking, humanity-helping, billion dollar companies, one after the other. None. Name me one. By the way, in terms of climate change impact, Elon Musk is the single largest contributor to carbon dioxide emission reductions in the world. Again, tell me one more. His own contribution to reduction of CO2 reductions is about 30 million tonnes a year. Noone has done more.
And still they go after him.
SolarCity’s story is one of bold ambition and real impact, laying the groundwork for the solar boom we see today.
SpaceX:
SpaceX is humanity’s ticket to the stars, making space exploration accessible and affordable through innovation. Its reusable Falcon rockets and Starship—the most powerful rocket ever built—slash launch costs, enabling frequent missions to orbit and beyond. SpaceX has revitalized the space industry, delivering satellites, resupplying the International Space Station, and launching Starlink to provide high-speed internet to remote corners of the globe. Its Crew Dragon has restored American manned spaceflight, carrying astronauts safely to space. With plans for lunar missions, Mars colonization, and point-to-point Earth travel, SpaceX embodies the dream of a multiplanetary future, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible
Tesla:
Tesla is a trailblazer in sustainable energy, accelerating the world’s transition to electric vehicles (EVs) and renewable power. Its sleek, high-performance EVs—like the Model S, Model 3, and Cybertruck—have redefined what cars can be, combining eco-friendliness with cutting-edge tech like Autopilot and Full Self-Driving capabilities. Tesla’s Gigafactories produce batteries at scale, driving down costs and making clean energy more accessible. Its Powerwall and Megapack systems revolutionize home and grid storage, empowering people to live off-grid or stabilize energy networks. Tesla’s vision of a zero-emission future inspires millions, and its global network of Superchargers makes long-distance EV travel seamless, proving sustainability can be practical and exciting.
SolarCity:
SolarCity was a pioneering force in making solar energy mainstream, transforming how people power their homes and businesses. Founded in 2006 by Lyndon and Peter Rive with Musk’s backing as chairman, it became the leading residential solar installer in the U.S. by 2013, thanks to its innovative leasing model—zero upfront costs for customers, who simply paid for the clean energy produced. This approach democratized solar, putting panels on rooftops from California to the East Coast, generating over 870 megawatts by 2015. SolarCity’s high-efficiency panels and sleek designs set a new standard, while partnerships—like free Tesla Roadster charging and early Powerwall installations—bridged solar with the broader clean-energy ecosystem. Its $2.6 billion acquisition by Tesla in 2016 supercharged Tesla Energy, folding SolarCity’s expertise into a unified mission to end fossil fuel reliance. Even today, its legacy lives on in Tesla’s solar roofs and energy storage, proving solar can be affordable, scalable, and stylish—a game-changer for a greener planet.

Neuralink:
Neuralink is a bold leap into the future of human potential, aiming to merge brains with technology. By developing brain-computer interfaces, it seeks to treat neurological disorders like Parkinson’s or paralysis, restoring movement or communication to those in need. Beyond medicine, Neuralink envisions enhancing cognition—think faster learning, perfect memory, or direct interaction with AI. Its early trials show promise, with implants enabling thought-controlled devices. Neuralink’s mission to amplify human intelligence could unlock creativity and problem-solving on an unprecedented scale, ensuring humanity stays ahead in an AI-driven world while helping those with disabilities live fuller lives.
The Boring Company:
The Boring Company is reinventing urban transport by digging faster, cheaper tunnels to alleviate traffic congestion. Its tunnel-boring machines are designed to create underground networks for high-speed travel, like the Hyperloop-inspired systems that could zip people between cities in minutes. Projects like the Las Vegas Convention Center Loop show its potential to streamline movement in crowded areas, with Tesla vehicles whisking passengers efficiently. By reducing reliance on gridlocked roads, The Boring Company offers a cleaner, quieter alternative to surface transport, promising to transform how we navigate cities and reclaim time lost to commutes.
X Corp:
X is a vibrant, free-speech-driven platform that’s evolving into an “everything app” for the modern age. Under Musk’s vision, it’s a place where ideas clash, voices are heard, and truth emerges from open debate, unfiltered by heavy-handed moderation. X empowers users to share real-time updates, from breaking news to personal insights, fostering a global town square that’s raw and authentic. With innovations like X Premium, it rewards creators with monetization while offering subscribers exclusive content and enhanced features. Its push toward payments, video, and long-form posts aims to make X a one-stop hub for communication, entertainment, and commerce—think WeChat, but with a Western flair and a commitment to transparency. By championing free expression and cutting bureaucratic bloat (like its streamlined workforce), X is redefining social media as a dynamic, user-centric ecosystem that fuels connection, creativity, and discovery.
X stands out as a bold experiment in balancing openness with utility, aiming to be both a megaphone for the masses and a Swiss Army knife of digital tools.
