Greg Foreman on the Black Conservative Perspective show. The thing is now totally politics. The law is out the door. And the Dems don't look good spending all their time trying to fly illegal immigrants back to America, and spending no time at all sympathising with Gold Star parents who have lost children to the violence of illegal immigrant death gangs. Even if Garcia is innocent, the bigger story is the one that's playing out here.
This follows on from my battle with Grok the other day, where I came away thinking that Garcia is innocent, or at least that the deportation was not legal. Stephen Miller explains that in fact if you belong to a designated terror organisation, then the Withholding Order is no longer relevant.
Though, again, SCOTUS 9-0 found that it was indeed still in force.
So I give up on that. I depart the legal scene and leave it to the warring sides to figure it out. At the mo, the Reps are winning, I'd say. Mainly because it's not a good look to be going half way round the world to help illegals (and on that point, at least, there's no argument), while showing no sympathy for the victims of violent illegal immigrant crime.
ADDED: Even CNN doubts supporting a known MS-13 gang member is hill to die on.
