("Barry" being Barack Obama)
Who recently lectured "the brothers" about how they were not coming out in enough numbers for his candidate Kamala Harris -- the one who will give him his Fourth Term -- because, he said, they were being misogynist. The didn't like the idea of a woman in power, and that's just not right. He lectured.
It didn't go over well with the Brothers.
Mainly because the reasons they're not liking on her is because they don't like her border policies. The unchecked immigration is flooding poor parts of America -- where young Black men disproportionally live -- and are taking up living space and reducing employment opportunities.
The also don't like her soft-on-crime policies ("defund the police") and believe that the economy was better handled by Trump '45.
It seems Barry doesn't know this. Or doesn't want to admit it.
But I did know it. For a long time, I've known it.
Why?
Because I follow a number of Black YouTube channels, by smart young Black folks (more correctly, in today's terminology, from Black and Brown people). They've been talking about this issue for ages. And going to the places where the problems are. And reporting from there.
Here are a few:
- Amala Ekpunobi
- Amir Odom
- Barry Cunningham
- Black Conservative Perspective. (Greg Foreman)
- Christian Watson
- Coleman Hughes
- Devory Darkins
- Glenn Loury
- I am coach Colin
- Nate the Lawyer
- PBD Podcast (Patrick Bet-David)
- Professor Nez
- Vivek Ramaswamy
Me, following these online, social media, real down-to-earth, actual people on YT channels, me, I have a better idea of why young Black men are not voting for Kamala, than does the ex president Barack Obama. Or, at least, as far as he is willing to admit. Which is only to blame them for misogyny.
Point being: these are real problems. Real issues. They, these young Black men, really are concerned about the influx of illegal immigrants. They really are concerned about the increase in crime and the defunding of the police. They really are concerned that their economic outlook is worse under Harris-Biden-Obama that it was under Trump 45. I guess that's all too close to the bone to admit.
Nonetheless, it's true.
