OMG… I've been saying this for ages. That the three accidents (Three Mile, Chernobyl, Fukushima) showed not how unsafe nuclear energy is, but the opposite: how safe it is. Because they were all very old technology, yet caused few deaths. Certainly fewer than the millions killed annually by coal-fires smog.
And because we can count them: three, just three, since 1948.
Nuclear must be part of the mix.
