"Islamophobia" is a term invented by the Muslim Brotherhood in the United States specifically to counter criticism of Islam. They took their cue fro the term homophobia.
Both terms have been very successful. Short Douglas Murray:
Antisemitism is irrational hatred of Jews because they are Jews.
Islamophobia means whatever the utterer wants it to mean, most often simply to slander and shut down any criticism of Islam the ideology.
They are not equivalent.
