We’re at the Kamitonda Ryokan (inn) on the last day. The river outside is flooded and still flooding. When we’d arrived the night before it was a tiny stream. Floods kept rising from a nearby typhoon, and we were evacuated to Tanabe by bus from where we took a 3-hour taxi ride to Osaka, as trains were cancelled. There’s more here with some nice photos.
