The full Editorial Board of the vaunted Washington Post hammers hard on China and the need to have another — this time proper — investigation into the origins of the pandemic!
If we don't know how it started we don't know how to foil the next pandemic.
This means China has to allow an international team, a credible group, to look into both the zoonotic origin and the lab leak origin theories.
This may be a foretaste of pressure to come from a Republican House.
More power to them all. Too bad if China feels uncomfortable!
By the way, let's remember that Australia called for an international investigation into the pandemic origins and was punished by China for its presumption!
Also remember: the very same WaPo, just two years ago was telling us that those who believed a lab leak hypothesis were "conspiracy theorists". It's why we can't have "misinformation" laws. Least of all the government deciding that it is. Only through open dialogue can we come to the truth.
(Though, TBF, I doubt China will oblige and we may never know the truth).
