Some might wonder: why be so tied up in this stuff? This Trans stuff. Why not leave it be? Answer is: that it’s affecting all areas of life, at least in the US, the UK and Australia. That’s to say the Anglo Saxon world. Which has become obsessed with it. And its ideology. Part of which involves denial of science.

None of those [proposals in the para above] will satisfy the Stonewall activists, whose ideological overreach has not just imperilled women, but added to the stressful burden on genuine trans people who previously lived in peace. All have been traduced by a quasi-religious movement whose beliefs are not based in fact. If Starmer has any sense he will pledge to clarify sex in the EA himself — and settle this toxic matter once and for all.
