Southern Poverty Law Centre indicted. Good.

Good, I'm glad they've been indicted. They're a crooked outfit. A scm.

The charge? Fraud.

The SPLC did good work at the beginning of its existence. They were a bunch of lawyers who set out to sue the Ku Klux Klan to oblivion. They pretty much succeeded in that.

So much so, that they ran out of "White Extremists" to go after. The Klan is pretty much non-existent.

So the SPLC helped to create and fund White Supremacist groups. That's the charge. And that's how Joe Biden was able to say, falsely, that "white supremacism is the biggest terrorist threat to America".

I've written about the SPLC for over ten years. They went after two brave ex-Muslims in Maajid Nawaz and Ayaan Hirsi Ali. That was most unfair and ridiculous. But just a small part of the big pic of how they went about fund raising, by funding extremist groups and then pointing to them: "See the challenge we've got! Money please!"

Here's some of my posts, going back over ten years. I've been leery about this outfit for ages. While, of course, the mainstream media is painting this a just the Trump admin going after them for "political reasons". What happened to "no one is above the law"?

Here are the guys from the Ruthless Podcast talking about it yesterday

I’m a horrid right wing, extreme radical. Or something

An Occasional Reader (OR) has had a go at me and we’ve had some email to-and-fro.

I’ve been accused of being more extreme, more radical, more right wing, more conservative, more evangelical even, than before.

I asked for the receipts. What’s the evidence? Please tell me. I’m all ears. Honestly. We had a good discussion, quite friendly, if heated at times. Below is a kind of a summary, with the areas we discussed being first, then lower down things we didn’t discuss, but which I cover from time to time on this blog, and my position on them.

I’ve had a look over some recent-ish posts of mine. I find I still agree with them. So there you are. I agree with myself. But also with Alexander Downer. Who’s definitely of the Right, but not a right-wing nutter. At least I don’t think so. And I agree with Christopher Hitchens. And Harris Sultan. And Ayaan Hirsi Ali. And Asra Nomani. And Brigitte Gabriel. And so many others on the "right", or the Common Sense brigade. The reality monsters. The radical reality-based folx.

Here we go:

Evangelical Right:

First one is that I’m leaning to the Evangelical Right. How so? I ask given that I’m a life-long atheist. Quite radically, extremely so. Well, support for the anti-semitism bill running through congress. Well, say I, I’ve not posted anything about that, but as it happens I don’t support it. Mainly because it bumps another belief -- a radical, extreme one -- for Free Speech. I don’t think we should be mandating by law any restrictions on that. Not for Jews, not for Muslims. Not for Christians.

Being More Anti-China: I plead guilty to this. But claim mitigation. That being that China has itself become rather more of a bully on the world stage in the last dozen years or so, what with the “Wolf Diplomacy” and the aggression in the South China Sea, so surely a fair person is allowed to be rather more robust in response.

Being more critical of Islam: I plead no contest on this one. The whole reason for starting this blog was because I’d been reading about Islam and was troubled by its ideology. I still am. It may be that I make my points rather more directly. I hope I make them rather more clearly than I used to, otherwise, have I learned nothing in 15 years? I do think the threat of Islam, which is what I started writing about, is much worse much more quickly than I thought then. And so I quote regularly people  who know Islam from the inside out -- people like Ayaan Hirsi Ali. She herself has become more strident. Because the threat has chased her out of Somalia, then the Netherlands and then Britain.

Being Super pro-Israel: To this I plead Guilty. And comfortably so. I’m inclined to say “proudly so”, but that doesn’t seem right. To me the issue of Israel vs Hamas is crystal clear. It’s crystal clear from having read widely on the subject. Not to the level of a professor. But certainly to the level beyond the average, and a country mile past the extraordinary ignorance of the students and street protesters. Hamas is an evil death cult. It has not a single redeeming feature, as a movement or as a people. (If there is One redeeming feature, I’m all ears). They don’t even value their babies. We tend to think all humans love their children. Not Hamas and the brainswashed Gazans who Love Death, Love Allah, more than they love their children who they are more than willing -- they are happy --  to offer to the Glory of Allah and the spread of Islam.

While Israel is a democratic, free, liberal, inventive society that loves life.

I have no problem making the distinction. It’s not “complicated” or “nuanced” to me.

Being Super pro-Nuclear: Guilty as charged. And that makes me on the Right, as far as Australian politics is concerned. It’s a live issue in Australia right now. The split is the Leftish Labor Party is agains, the Centre Right Liberal Party is in favour. And so am I. And so are any folks who follow the science and are not fooled by such nonsense as “We don’t need nuclear in Australia because we have abundant sun and land"

Choice: didn’t discuss at all, but for the record, I’m pro Choice. A liberal view.

Gun control: didn’t discuss at all, but for the record, I’m ok with gun control. Just that by the evidence, it won’t do much good, given the number of guns already in the country. The data by state don’t have a strong correlation between high gun control states and lower gun crimes.

Australia and China: I admit to being totally pro Australia whenever there’s something in the local press about an Australia China issue. The local SCMP will have a ton of comments whenever there’s an Oz-China issue, all in favour of China. I weigh in, in favour of Australia. Eg, on the issue of Australia demanding a full international investigation into the source of the Covid virus, and then China slapped on import bans on Australian minerals and seafood, I was (and remain) totally on Australia’s side. So, yes, guilty as charged on that one.

Free Speech: a dozen years ago in Oz, I was holding forth on NOT trying to ban “Hate Speech”. For that, by my sister, I was told: “my goodness, you’re becoming so conservative!” For standing for free speech. I’ve had other old, old friends accuse me -- “j’accuse -- of being a ‘free speech absolutist”. Again, guilty as charged. Australia is becoming a very censorious country, much more so than even the censorious Europe. I don’t like that. I’ve got more freedom of speech here in Hong Kong, than the have in Australia now. Colour me extreme and radical and horrid right wing for that one as well.

Anti-semitism Bill: This I don’t agree with. So, if supporting that it right wing, then I’m Leftie on that

ADDED: About China and about Islam and about Russia or the Soviet Union, my beef is always with the ideology not the people. So I can say: I don't like Marxism-Leninism, or Maoism, but I do like the Chinese people. I don't like the ideology of Islam, but every Muslim I've ever met is a fine person. I don't like Leninism, or Putinism, but the Russians are fun people. Always the ideology. We ought be able to criticise the ideology. Always. Which is why it's wrong to have a "Hate speech" tie to "Islamophobia". No... we must be able to criticise Islam. Just as we do Christianity. Or Communism. Or Nazism.

Muslim Brotherhood radicalises NOLA mass murderer

Summary

    1. The mass murder by truck on New Year''s Eve in New Orleans was motivated by the ideology of Islam.
    2. That ideology is spread in the United States by the Muslim Brotherhood, via a multitude of related outfits, the top being the Council on American Islamic Relations, CAIR.
    3. The Muslim Brotherhood operates very much behind the scenes. Its main aim is "eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within" to establish the global Islamic caliphate.
    4. The Muslim Brotherhood invented the term "Islamophobia" to deflect and deter any criticism of the ideology of Islam.
    5. To counter this supremacist ideology we need to defang the term "islamophobia".

A man named Shamsud-Din Jabbar murdered 14 people in New Orleans on NYE by driving his truck into them. When I saw he was a Muslim, I thought, well... there's the motive then. Islam.

Jumping to conclusions? Stereotyping?

Sure I am. Like George Clooney as "Ryan" says in his movie Up in the Air: "I'm like my mother. I stereotype. It's faster."

    • Ryan (George Clooney) [to Natalie while watching passengers go through airport security] Never get behind people traveling with infants. I've never seen a stroller collapse in less than 20 minutes. Old people are worse. Their bodies are littered with hidden metal and they never seem to appreciate how little time they have left. Bingo, Asians. They pack light, travel efficiently, and they have a thing for slip on shoes. Gotta love 'em.
    • Natalie: That's racist.
    • Ryan: I'm like my mother, I stereotype. It's faster.

So, sure, I stereotype. It's faster.

When I heard Jabbar was a pious Muslim, I thought, well, that seals it then. Killing infidels. Killing unbelievers. It's what you gotta do if you're a pious Muslim.

And when we learned that he was flying an ISIS flag from his pick up truck! Well, that did it. QED. For me, anyway.

Not for the FBI, though. Their first go at jumping to a conclusion was from the narrative that Islam is a "Religion of Peace" and so this can't be a terrorist incident. As the lead FBI investigator said immediately after the killings: "... it is not a terrorist event..."

So, I jump to a conclusion by stereotyping and I'm right. As I usually am. FBI jumps to a conclusion derived from a narrative and is wrong. As it usually is.

Others say Jabbar was in financial straits. Owed his ex-wife piles of alimony. His real estate business was failing. That's why he committed these vile acts. Suicide by cop. But then I recall I was in a similar way back around the mid 1990s, and similar thoughts came to mind. But I pushed them aside, loser thoughts, and selfish. Many others have. Only if you have the Lord above, in the shape of Allah, will you think that killing a lot of infidels will not only solve your own problem, but give you free entry to the virgin-land of Allah's imagination. This is a mass death "event", driven by the ideology of Islam. There you have it.

Jabbar's trailer-home in Houston TX

Jabbar has a Koran on the table, open at Surah 9.111, which says:
Allah has indeed purchased from the believers their lives and wealth in exchange for Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah and kill or are killed. This is a true promise binding on Him in the Torah, the Gospel, and the Quran. And whose promise is truer than Allah’s? So rejoice in the exchange you have made with Him. That is ˹truly˺ the ultimate triumph. [Reference]
You see. If you kill infidels and are killed, you go to heaven, where Allah promises you 72 virgins. If you kill infidels and are not killed yourself... no worries. You're blessed by Allah and have those doe-eyed houris awaiting you whenever you're ready. So it's a good deal either way, dead or alive. As long as you kill non-Muslims.

One of the "Reflections" recorded at the Surah says this is a "trade" and not a "sacrifice". That is: you trade your life to Allah and in return for your trade, Allah gives you 72 virgins. Personally, I don't see how that is supposed to make it better, but somehow it is. To Muslims, at least, for they all love this Surah.

On Jabbar's bookshelf I recognise the Hadith of Bukhari, green with gold lettering, same as my copies. The Hadith are second only to the Koran in authority, Bukhari's being the most authoritative. They relate the doings and sayings of Muhammad (whereas the Koran is -- we are told -- the actual, literal word of Allah, passed direct to Muhammed by the Angel Gabriel). The fact that Jabbar was reading both the Koran and the Hadith confirms he was a true and pious believer.

Worth repeating here that Islam is the only religion in the world that still calls on its believers to kill unbelievers. It says to kill unbelievers "wherever you find them".

It is a powerful ideology that encourages killing non-Muslims. As Peter Jennings notes:

Islamic State and other groups remain a powerful ideological force. They offer a certainty, now and in the eternal life, which some people – many in fact – will kill for.

This is not just in the Middle East. For some in Muslim diaspora communities in the West, and handfuls of non-Muslim individuals who may be willing to adopt an extremist Islamism, this ideology is a powerful force.

The imam at Jabbar's mosque

Jabbar frequented a mosque near his trailer-home in Houston. The Imam of the mosque, Fahmee Al-Uqdah, is something of a Jew-hater. Nothing unusual there, for any pious Muslim is going to hate Jews.

The Koran hates on Jews. The Hadith even more so. The Jewish tribes in Medina, today's Saudi Arabia, made fun of Muhammad when he came to preach his message. They laughed at him. He never forgave them. Hated them. Fought them. And that goes on to this day. As the Jews are still the kings of stand-up....

The Imam at Jabbar's mosque explains to his flock why Hitler -- a man with a "nice moustache" -- killed Jews. Basically, he says, they brought it on themselves for being too successful. You see. [Later: I saw and read this on the NYP site, but it seems to have been deleted].

The Imam sent a letter out to his congregation after the killings telling them that if the FBI or media wanted any comment, they should refer to CAIR or ISGH. CAIR is the Council on American Islamic Relations and ISGH is a subsidiary of ISNA is the Islamic Society of North America.

I understand why you'd want to advise folks not to talk to the FBI or media, without some expert help. After all, we say the same. Don't talk to the police without your lawyer present.

But CAIR and ISNA are both part of the Muslim Brotherhood web in North America. As are the dozens of other Islamic organisations in the United States. The Brotherhood is behind them all.

This is a worry, for the Brotherhood's aim, since founded in 1928, has been the Islamisation of the whole world. It's set out in an Explanatory Memorandum.
The Ikhwan [Muslim Brothers] must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and "sabotaging" its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God's religion is made victorious over all other religions. [Reference]

All CAIR and no responsibility

In 2008 the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), Islam's peak body in the U.S. and many other Islamic organisations were found to be creatures of the Muslim Brotherhood, both giving and receiving finance for terrorists. This was the conclusion of the "Holy Land Foundation" trials, run by Obama's own Justice Department.

Nothing has changed since then. There has been no crack down on the activities of any of these Brotherhood-related entities. We have probable gone even softer on them than before, as we see overt Hamas-loving activities at US Universities and cities. Hamas itself being a creating of the Muslim Brotherhood.

And this despite the fact that the United Arab Emirates named CAIR as a terrorist body in 2014. And that there are more bans against the Muslim Brotherhood in the Islamic world than there are in the west. Which is so scared of being labelled "Islamophobic" for doing so.
Muslim Brotherhood orgs in the US at 1998
Many more since. From here

No action against the Muslim Brotherhood

Why have we done nothing? In part because of the success of all these MB bodies around the US, which are charged with Public Relations. They have made criticism of Islam a taboo for many by the deployment of the Islamophobe label on anyone who dares to criticise.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali has been banging on about this for years. She says we should be even more concerned with Dawa than with terrorism. Dawa is the proselytisation of Islam. Spreading Islam by "peaceful" means. Islamisation.
Ms. Hirsi Ali is not afraid to call these groups out. Her book names five including the Council on American-Islamic Relations, which asserts—and in turn receives in the mainstream media—the status of a moderate Muslim organization. But groups like CAIR, Ms. Hirsi Ali says, “take advantage of the focus on ‘inclusiveness’ by progressive political bodies in democratic societies, and then force these societies to bow to Islamist demands in the name of peaceful coexistence.” [Reference]

Dismantling the word "Islamophobia"

"Islamophobia" is a bogus word. It was invented by the Muslim Brotherhood, specifically to deflect criticism of Islam. It's been wildly successful at that.

We need to reclaim the word. By reclaim I mean to ditch it. So revile it. To mock it. To refuse to be silenced by it. To tell everyone that it was invented by the ideological fount of supremacist Islam.

Christopher Hitchens said that the word "Islamophobia" is “a word created by fascists, and used by cowards, to manipulate morons.”

The fascists are the Muslim Brotherhood. The cowards are all those too scared to speak honestly about Islam. And the morons are all those who too readily accept that there is such a thing as a "phobia" when what is being criticised is an ideology.

“Two-Tier Keir” | Ayaan Hirsi Ali

Blood in Britain's Streets. By Ayaan Hirsi Ali

I’ve followed Hirsi Ali for many years. Somali-born, forced into marriage with a much older man who abused her, forced to have FGM, she managed to escape, to Holland, team up with filmmaker Theo Van Gough (grand-nephew, iirc, of the painter) to make the movie “Fitna” about the mistreatment of women in Islam, which subject she knew from first hand experience. Theo was murdered by an Islamist nutter for his “blasphemy”. The murderer pinned a note to Theo’s body, with his knife. It said “To Ayaan: you’re next”. Ayaan fled to the U.K., then to the U.S.
She married the famous popular historian Niall Ferguson along the way. And converted from atheism to Christianity.
She is a powerful, scrupulous, brave direct woman. From her blog, in response to the chaos unfolding in Britain:

/snip:

It should go without saying that all violent disorder which endangers lives and destroys property is unacceptable. There is no excuse that justifies riots, attacks on citizens, property damage and arson. This red line applies to all individuals or groups on the political spectrum from far right to far left and just as much to all ethnic and religious minorities regardless of their numbers or social status. It tears at the social fabric and destroys the trust which is necessary for common flourishing. Unfortunately, the British Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer did not say this in his statement on the developments.

The Prime Minister decided instead to single out what he calls "far-right" and made a point of stressing the need to keep Muslims and minority communities safe.

Some comments from Me

Mass immigration

This is a concern across the western world. By polling 70-90% of people in Europe, the UK, the U.S., say they want a limit to mass immigration, and especially illegal mass migration. The elites — politicians and the media — have ignored or mocked them. France voted to limit mass immigration, but instead, through Macron’s manipulations they ended up with communism. Britons wanted limits on mass immigration and got a Left-wing pro-more immigration Labour Party of Sir Keir Starmer.
Here’s a thought: it’s not so much mass immigration that’s the problem as the type of it. I don’t think Brits would be nearly so concerned if the immigration was from the Far East — China, Korea, Japan, Vietnam— or from Hindu India or Christian Bangladesh. Or from Nigerian atheists. Or Zoroastrian Iranians. Or pantheist Poles.
But a lot of it — perhaps even most of it — is from Islamic countries. Large chunks of Muslim immigrants,  y all our experience and polling, don’t share many or any of western values. The ideology of Islam despises other religions and non-religious. It is homophobic, misogynist, sectarian, militarist, supremacist, and has been so since its founding by the warlord Muhammad.
How can locals warm to immigrants who have bombed their buses, killed their young festival goers, knifed their veterans, decapitated their politicians? Seriously, how?

Big Brother Starmer

The British PM, Sir Keir Starmer, instead of taking these widespread concerns into account, not only ignores them, but threatens the messengers. His government just said: “Think before you post”.
Imagine that! Be careful what you say. Sir Keir has 3,000 stormtroopers combing the internet for “hate speech”. Basic ally anything Sir Keir doesn’t like.
They’re threatening to arrest the famous best-selling author Douglas Murray, FFS!
Steven Edginton, the smart young investigative journalist, was nearly arrested. His crime? He reported in the failures and unpopularity of DEI policies in the British armed forces.
And in the meantime Tulsi Gabbard over in the USA, has been put on a “Terror Watch List”!

Free Speech and our basic rights as citizens are being throttled and it’s not from the Right. In all cases it’s the Left parties that are going after their opponents with lawfare, lowfare and unfairfare.

Why?

The question is then: “why do politicians across the western world ignore the will of the majority of their people? Why?”
I don’t get it. And neither does the media, because they don’t ask the question. To them it’s self evident that more immigration is A Good Thing. If you question it’s you who’s the bigot.
I blame John Lennon. At least partly. Listen to the lyrics of “Imagine”:
Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion, too
Yes, it is easy to imagine it. In a perfect world, no borders, we travel where we want when we want, no countries: no passport needed. The freedom of mankind. As an atheist for nearly 70 years (!) I’d love to imagine “no religion too”.
But of course that’s not how the world works. Which fact is a stubborn thing.
Religion is stronger than ever. The Fundamentalist religious are more numerous than ever. Big chunks of humanity believe in supernatural deities who tell them to hate those who don’t believe as they do, that women are worth only half a man, that minorities should be subdued and battled. That blasphemers and apostates must be killed. When big chunks of those big chunks come to the west their confident supremacist values overcome our own flaccid “tolerant” values— as we see from our own actual, real, in-front-of-our-eyes experience. But Starmer, Macron, Harris-Biden, Albanese (Australia) do not want to — will not — face that fact.
And the world, humankind, is worse for it. A net decrease in civilisation, net increase in barbarism.

"Islamism & the 'Far Right’: a False Equivalence” | Ayaan Hirsi Ali

Ayaan Hirsi Ali is the brave woman who jointly produced the film “Submission" with Dutch filmmaker Theo Van Gough. The film was all about women and Islam. This is something Hirsi Ali knew all about, being born Muslim in Somalia, having had FGM -- “female genital mutilation” -- done on her at a young age, being married off to a much older man on the orders of her father, but managing to escape her father and husband, to make her way to Holland.

But she didn’t quite escape. Her film partner Theo Van Gough was murdered by an Islamist fanatic, upset that the film told the truth. He stabbed a knife into Theo’s heart, appending a note to the knife: “Ayaan, you are next”.

The Dutch authorities refused to protect her, so she fled to the United Kingdom, where she met her now husband, the famous historian Niall Ferguson.

In the end she felt vulnerable in the England as well so she and Niall moved to the U.S., where the Islamist problem, is, for the moment, a little less severe than in Europe and the U.K.:

Sometimes when I get tired of the terrible news from the United States I like to take a look across the Atlantic. Sometimes it’s better! Sometimes it makes me grateful to be in America.
Because:

Every year the nation [U.K.] gets more Muslim, and every year the nation gets more terrified of talking about Islam...

And instead of talking about Islam, people bang on about “the Far Right”:

Instead of pledging to fight back against Islamist intimidation of MPs or talking about how Galloway’s Gaza-centric campaign reflected the balkanization wrought by excessive immigration, Sunak instead feebly triangulated between Islamism on the one hand and the supposed rise of the Far Right ...

I know that many (perhaps most) of my old mates, and even my Occasional Readers may say that wanting to talking about Islam and Islamism is alarmist, that it’s Islamophobic, or xenophobic, or Muslim-baiting, or bigoted.

What can I say to that, other than “no, it’s not”.

I’ve seen the U.K. with my own eyes. Lived in London in the 1970s; our son was five years at school in Kent in the 90s; I’ve visited many times since. I’ve driven it Land’s End to John o’Groats many times.

There are vast swathes of major cities that are unrecognisable.

And not for the better.

Unless you think that having all the pubs in an area closed down is for the better. Or all the front lawns turned over to concrete is for the better. Or five times a day calls to prayer on the loudspeakers is for the better. Or having to walk around men (it’s always men) kowtowing down right on the street to pray, is for the better. Or women not being able to walk in these areas without a man, or without hijab is for the better.

Or having only one type of food is for the better: Kebabs and Curries. I mean, yum and yummy, but that’s all?

I mean, after all, I thought one of the big benefits of multiculturalism was supposed to be a widening of food choices, not a narrowing! And no bacon. And no sangers! No pork scratchings! Not to mention no beer! And no wine. And Sharia patrols to make sure women are covered. And women being forced into FGM, which is what Ayaan fled from.

We’re not talking Chinatown-type things here. We’re talking wholesale takeover of some cities in the U.K., by  linguistically, culturally, clothedly and religiously very different people with no intention of trying to fit in with the host country, but bent on changing it to its own ways. (For example, forcing workmates to follow their Ramadan fasting period).

If you think all that is better, adding to the rich mosaic of life, then you’ve lost me. I most assuredly do not think these are an improvement on the traditional life of the U.K.  And most of my mates and O.R.s wouldn’t  either if they actually went there, and saw for themselves and were honest. I liked Islamabad and Kabul and Istanbul. But in their place. They don’t have to be in Birmingham or Rotherham, or Tower Hamlets.

For me, for many folks who are leaving the U.K. because of it, it’s a crying shame. And it was brought on England by itself. It was brought on by policy (the Blair government).

This did not need to happen. Or it might have happened at a rate where there could have been more integration. But no, our betters knew better. And it’s not better, it’s worse.

"Islamism & the 'Far Right’: a False Equivalence” | Ayaan Hirsi Ali

=================

Note: I am absolutely NOT saying Britain should try to get back to being a White Britain. No, no, no. Not at all. I’ve spent most of my life here in Asia, after all, where we whities are very much a minority. And I’d have no issue if the migration was East Asian, India Hindus, Nigerian Christian. The issue is with the ideology of Islam which is supremacist, misogynistic, homophobic, and aggressively against adopting the values of the host country. Rather to make the host country Islamic. That’s not me saying that, but Islamic leaders and influencers who say it in stop. That’s what we’re concerned about.

(A). Don’t keep bowing down to Muslim practices. Cambridge University held an ancient annual knees-up this year, happened to done during Ramadan, so they decided to do it “in respect to Ramadan” and go alcohol-free. Imagine the normal boozy fun fest, this time according to participants very subdued. No. Don’t do it. Gains no respect and only makes the studes feel they really, really need a drink.

In some workplaces non-Muslims are being pressured to fast during Ramadan because their Muslim colleagues are. Again, hard no. Push back. You do yours, we do ours.

(B). Push back against disrespectful Muslim practices. Like public praying in front of cathedrals. Imagine the shoe in the other foot, Christians singing carols in front of a. Osque. Disrespectful? Of course. So the other way around is too. Move them on, when the gather for their heads down bums up.

(C). Deport any Muslims non-citizens who preach aggressive Islam, Jihad, killing of we infidels. Or criminals. Like in the many Muslim gangs.

(D). Don’t put up with enforced “blasphemy”. When a teacher shows his class pictures of Muhammad, and is forced into hiding by angry Muslims, say no. Instead, like the desegregation battles of the sixties in an America, have law enforcement accompany the teacher to school. You do not get to institute blasphemy laws on our country.

(E). Shut down the Sharia courts. There should be one law for all. Will Muslims be angry? Of course. But why should they be permitted a whole parallel legal system? Where’s the logic for that, other than a wish to be “tolerant” decades ago when people were under the delusion that being nice to Muslims would get them being nice back. No… there is no golden rule in Islam.

“Revenge of the Normies” | Martin Gurri

Click above for the video
I’d come across the article by Martin Gurri a week ago, as Scenes From a Global Struggle, in Discourse magazine. It was then picked up by The Free Press as The Revenge of the Normies, and then on Sky New Oz, with James Morrow above.

I’m a part of the elite. I can’t help it. It’s just where I’d be placed by a pollster asked me any background. But I’m a traitor to my class. I stand more for the working class, all the way from before Covid, but especially then, when I saw how the “laptop class” ruled and the poor business owners and wage slaves suffered. I’ve written a lot about that on this blog.

It’s not me that’s changed, though. It’s the rest of the Left. That has abandoned the working class and now mocks it. A recent Oxford Union Debate with Nancy Pelosi shows just how much the elite, of which she’s a normative part, still think of them all as “Deplorables”.

This guy, Martin Gurri, an ex CIA analyst, I’ve never heard of before, makes good points in his essay and in the talk with James Morrow. The “Normies”, that’s us Deplorables.

They, the elite, believe they must always be in power. It’s “our democracy”. Biden reminds him of Jimmy Carter (who, btw, also said the 2016 election was “Illegitimate”).
