“Compliance with Hong Kong national security law behind Disney’s decision to pull Simpsons episode that mentions Chinese ‘labour camps’“

We bought Disney stock a few years ago. My bad. I’d seen 100 years of steady rise. Nothing crazy. Nice and steady. Little did I suspect — no sooner had we bought than Disney honchos set about proving the “go woke, go broke” trope.
They’ve changed CEO but not changed tack. Woke as all hell. Their latest animated offering, “The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder”. As bad, as horrid, as woke, as historically wrong, as racist as you’d expect from the title. I watched in real time on Rotten Tomatoes as the audience score went from 49% to 9%! In real time! People hate it.
Meantime, here in Hong Kong Disney are kowtowing to show how loyal they can be to Beijing. They’ve deleted an episode of The Simpsons, one that refers to Uygur work camps. Another example of the Streisand Effect. And the comments rip Disney. And the Hong Kong government.
Compliance with Hong Kong national security law behind Disney's decision to pull Simpsons episode that mentions Chinese 'Uyghur labour camps' in Xinjiang. Here.

ADDED: Rotten Tomatoes now (10 Feb) have Critics score, of 100%, based on two reviews. Even though their practice os to need five reviews before giving an average. This was the other day when they had not one review.
