I pretty much agree with all of this assessment, at the link below. In short: that (1) demanding maintenance of the coronavirus lockdown is imperative, on pain of jail, on the one hand, while... (2) encouraging mass gatherings of anti-police protesters is... (3) hypocritical at best. And likely deadly dangerous, at worst.

The likes of [many folks] have justified the different standards by arguing that fighting racism is important. Well, so is mourning your dead, keeping your business from being ground to dust, and worshiping your God. It’s a sign of a ludicrously blinkered worldview to believe that a protest march deserves more consideration than these other elemental human needs.I guess that makes me a troglodyte who doesn’t care about social justice.... Just as being a Lockdown Sceptic makes me one who “wants to kill grandma”.... Oh, well.
