But somehow on the fringes of the Left and the Right, it's just fine to allow Iran, this country, this renegade, this thuggish dictatorship, this millenarian Islamic theocracy, this regime that believes in worldwide Islamic revolution to overthrow the west, that says it will use the nuclear bombs it's developing to hit Israel, and then to hit Europe, for it aims -- and says explicitly -- that it must occupy Rome, the representative of hated Christianity in Europe, also with a nuclear bomb, all this, this is the regime that these crazies think is just fine to be left to develop the bomb. 

Just leave them alone why doncha, to develop in "peace". Let's all live in peace, these fine thinkers tell us, the likes, on the Right, of the kooky Tucker Carlson, Steve Bannon, Candace Owens, Dave Smith, and on the Left, Bernie Sanders, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, AOC, and a gaggle of others. 

They are all pacifists, don't you know. Which makes them virtuous, don't you know. Which makes those of us wanting to stop the murderous regime, makes us the crazies. Don't you know.

Isolationism has consequences—a history lesson

After the disastrous 1919 Paris Peace Conference, President Wilson failed to prevent Japan from seizing control of China’s Shandong Peninsula from defeated Germany. This betrayal sparked a surge of anti-imperialist sentiment in China, which the Soviet Union quickly exploited by introducing Communism as the supposed solution to China’s national humiliation and internal strife.

In the years that followed, American foreign policy was dominated by isolationism. China was seen as too poor and too remote to warrant serious attention from Washington. By the time the United States re-engaged with China during World War II, Communism had already taken deep root.

Decades of missteps and miscalculations by American political leaders have since allowed Communist China to rise unchecked. Today, it stands as the most formidable threat America has ever faced—joined by its close ally, the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Isn’t it fitting to call Communist China the “Great Satan,” and Islamic Iran the “Little Satan”?

My comment: Xi Van Fleet lived in Communist China during the infamous and deadly Cultural Revolution. She knows what Communism does. (As do I, for I lived there when she did).

Xi came to America as a refugee and has been grateful for that refuge. Unlike the horrid Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, who came as a refugee from Somalia, to whom America gave refuge, and changed the laws of Congress to allow her to wear a headscarf, but never stops hating on the US. As she has been doing just recently, hence on my mind. Honestly....
