Entrepreneurs are choosing Hong Kong

It's not often I see Hong Kong promoted as a place for people to come to live. As opposed to the many vids about coming to Hong Kong to do a bit of touristing.

For buusiness: sure. We're in the top three financial hubs of the world and likely to become the biggest over the next decade. Things are happening.

We live here and are citizens. As in Permanent Residents, so we know about all the stuff that he mentions as we've done it all. We do find it a lovely place to live. Very cosmopolitan, very "east-meets-west", very safe, very open, very good medical system for older folks like me.

He's right about the very high costs of accomodation. We're lucky having bought here over 25 years ago, and fully paid off. If you don't have accommodation, that's going to take big chunks of income.

Bottom line: sure, give it a go. As he suggests. And whether or not you move here, a visit's always fun. Don't miss out on the walking trails if you do come. Most people miss this. But our Country Parks are fabulous and right on the doorstep. We're entering the best period for walking, which is basically any time but summer.

Bon Voyage! 一路平安!
