The Full History of the British Mandate of Palestine | Simon Sebag Montefiore

Via the Triggernometry lads: Konstantin Kisin and Francis Foster.

Simon Sebag Montefiore teaches.  He's got a new book out: "The Cauldron".

Montifiore talks a good story. The history of the Palestinian Mandate.

This history is not disputed. It's just that it's (often) not known, or (just as often) ignored.

Not known, or ignored by those who are on the side of Hamas terrorists. Who might claim to be for "Free Palestine", and "From the River to the Sea", but who are, knowing or not, calling for the annihilation of Israel and the genocide of Jews.

Not known, or ignored by all manner of Jew-hating people, politely called anti-semites, who downplay even that euphemism by saying "I'm not anti-semitic, I'm just anti-Zionist".

He mentions "Australian troops" being involved in fighting in Palestine in WWI. It was also New Zealanders. My maternal grandfather for one. A New Zealand farmer, he fought in Egypt and Gallipoli. The one and only time he ever left his North Island farm to travel overseas. He was wounded in Gallipoli and sent home, back to his farm in Waikato.

Grandfather Anderson said: "if that's what overseas is like, I'm not going again".
