Greg calls out the following hypocrisy:
That the left has said all along: Kamala is a DEI hire. Joe Biden said: “I’m proud to appoint Kamala Harris as part of my DEI agenda”. And all along, all the Dems are: this is a Woman, this is a Woman of Colour.
And yet: when the Reps say “She’s a DEI hire”, the Left goes crazy and calls them racist.
The racism comes from -- starts off with, is promoted by, is championed by -- the Left.
It's called out on the Right. And the Left calls the Right racist. Because they’re worried about how it looks. The Reps are more than happy to talk about the policies. But the Left, the Kamala bunch, don’t want to.
That’s the hypocrisy.
Greg Foreman is a smart guy who calls it all out. Charlamagne Tha God is an influential podcaster on the Left, who goes along with it.
This is Battleground Zero. The numbers only need to shift by a few percentage points, one way or the other, in the Black vote, to affect the outcome of the race. Hence its importance.
I can thoroughly recommend Greg as a follow. Not so much Tha God, as his views are standard fare on the mainstream media, like CNN, MSNBC, BBC, Australia’s ABC, etc...
ADDED: a few weeks ago ABC Canberra had a talk-back for four hours about Harris. The call-ins were all on side and giddy with excitement that there might be a woman president. There wasn’t any talk of her policies or how she’d flip-flopped on her policies. There was only talk of the fact that “she’s a woman” and that “she’s a woman of colour”. That’s it. Then they go crazy if you say “she’s appointed because she’s a woman of colour, ie a DEI hire”.
The Left might respond: she may be a DEI hire, but that doesn’t mean she’s not competent. Sure. Except that it also happens that she isn’t competent. So much so that the Dems were worried about putting her up without a Primary and had also thought about ditching her back in 2020. No-one thought she was competent. Not even Joe. She had the lowest approval ratings of any Vice President in history. That’s how “competent” she was/is.
