Just what we need — even *tougher* quarantine

Here in Hong Kong we already have the toughest quarantine rules in the world. Three weeks in quarantine for all arrivals wherever you’re from and whether vaccinated or not. Must be in a single hotel room, which you can’t leave. But all hotel rooms are fully booked to next year. 

So that’s why we sit here, two years after the first cases. I used to travel 6-8 times a year. The airport being just 23 minutes door to lounge. Now it’s a ghost town. When will it end? 

All a result of our zero Covid policy which we share with our beloved mainland. We have decided to look inwards to China rather than outwards to the world
