I kinda think this sums it up

I give it the Label “Hypocrisy” because the cuts in US fossil fuel production was done to placate the Left’s Climate change demands, but was immediately replaced with imports, including huge amounts from Russia. 

So: the US could say: “we’ve reduced our fossil fuel production by xx”, without owning up to the fact that they’re importing xx plus, mostly from Russia, which doesn’t get reported -- unless Russia attacks Ukraine, which exposes the fraud.

Hypocrisy. Shame.
