At the beginning Elon talks about his work on DOGE -- the Department of Government Efficiency. Where he says things are worse than he expected. And he also makes clear that he has nothing to do with implementing any of the DOGE proposals.
While the likes of CNN, MSNBC and so on, oin the Left, make all sorts of outlandish claims about what Elon is up to with DOGE, all unsubstantiated, most flat out lies. Listen to the man himself talk about it. There's a shorter version of this in a talk with Larry Kudlow. The latest attacks on him are literal, violent attacks, by far-left terrorists. Burning cars, torching showrooms, firing on his showrooms and staff, all remarkably unreported on the same CNN, MSNBC who are quick to host know-nothing critics of the man and his task to root out government waste, fraud and mismanagement of taxpayer money.
DOGE simply identifies problems, issues and examples of waste and fraud. Then they tell the relevant department about them, with suggestions as to what might be done to fix things. Things like corrupted Databases. Or payments to frivolous or wasteful projects. But it's very much up to the individual department head, the Secretary, to decide what to do, and how. How to implement the changes, staff cuts, curtailment of programs is up to the line boss in the relevant department.
