Listening to “The Art of the Menu”.  Ben Schott examines the graphic and gastronomic tricks of the menu, starting in his native New York on Radio 4 Extra. The printed menu only began in the early 20th century. Before that you just had the waiter telling you what was what. Menus didn’t become common in America until World War II when the government mandated price controls and demanded restaurants display dish prices.

I agree with today’s Alex Lo article: ‘Let’s face it, they all interfere in Hong Kong affairs’. The Pan-Dems appear to think that it’s perfectly fine to ask Washington or London to interfere, but not okay for the actual real sovereign, China, to even have views.
